Western Australian Film Preservation

Western Australian Film Preservation The Australian Museum of Motion Picture and Television Film Library has donated 24 Titles on 29 reels of 16mm film from its collection to the State Library of Western Australia. Almost all of these titles were endangered and needed to be digitised or they could have been lost forever. The State library’s funding drive has led to further digitisation of important Western Australian historical and cultural films which have been now given a new lease of life. AMMPT Collection Tours 2018, continued from successful tours in 2017.   The Australian Museum of Motion Picture and Television (AMMPT Western Region) is pleased to once again be conducting free tours of the museum’s collection at the Sunset Heritage Precinct in Dalkeith.
